The Christchurch Heart Institute Trust (CHI) is a registered charity of cardiologists, biochemists, and physiologists. The ECF enjoys a fruitful collaboration with the CHI on biomarkers and data-sharing projects.

Health New Zealand - Canterbury / Te Whatu Ora - Waitaha  (formerly Canterbury District Health Board) has collaborated on research projects, activities and events. 

 

Starting in 2014 the Canterbury District Health Board and the Emergency Care Foundation cosponsored an Acute Care Research Fellowship with the Canterbury Medical Research Foundation. This fellowship has enabled the undertaking of a number of new research projects particularly in the area of the management of acute chest pain.
